My Story
I grew up in Las Vegas, and graduated from a local high school. I have always had a passion for food, so I ended up managing restaurants for 18 years. However, I had always wanted to earn my culinary degree. So I went back to school as an adult to learn my craft.
Culinary school was like a dream come true. I learned so much, not only about the mechanics of cooking, but the artistry of it all. I loved all of it, but my favorite had to be learning to create beautiful and delicious sauces. After graduation I had to complete an internship, or residency, at a local fine dining restaurant. The fast pace and bustle of the kitchen helped me hone my skills and I moved on to find a position that would utilize my passion and skillset.
I found that I really had a passion for helping people, so I ended up finding various jobs in the health care industry, preparing and serving food to residents and patients. My heart is always the fullest when I'm taking care of people and putting a smile on their face, and this opportunity is a perfect fit for me.
I understand the need for full nutrition and how that helps heal the body, and I love making everything taste absolutely delicious. Healthy food is good for you, but it's so much better when it tastes good too! I would love to have the pleasure of cooking for you and your family.
